Great acceptance on the upcoming ExpoHalal Spain 2015

MADRID, Spain, September 30^th2015. The upcoming first Halal exhibition to be held in Spain is getting a great acceptance and raising high expectations on the Halal sector, announcedits organizers this Wednesday.

“This first edition has raised a great expectation and count with the presence of companies with long tradition in the Spanish Halal sector but also new products andproducers”, points out María Salvador, Director of ExpoHalal Spain 2015. “In fact there are barely free spaces left”, sheadded.

Visitors from more than 32 countries have already confirmed their assistance to the eventthat will take place on October 21st and 22ndat IFEMA (Madrid Trade Fair Centre).

Three officialdelegations from Middle East will also visit the trade show, the Omani Chamber of Commerce and Ministry of Agriculture,Jordan’s Foods and Drug Authority and the Emirates Authority of Standardization and Metrology (ESMA). The delegation´s members will have B2B meetings with exhibitors and Spanish key agents, as well as participate in a conferences program.

On the exhibitors side, the Spanish meat industry will have a stong presence followed by other growing markets: “the high participation of companies that belong to the sweets and the confectionery sector, gives us an idea of the wide variety of products and opportunities in the Halal markets.”,reveals Carolina de Funes, General Manager of Ambar Connect, the organising company.

“The response from non Spanish producers has also being very positive, with the registration of well knowned Halal brands from France, Belgium, Morocco and even Malaysia”, highlights Mrs. Salvador.

ExpoHalal Spain 2015 is complemented by a conference program, based on speeches and roundtables composed by high qualified professionals from the Halal fields. Standardization, Halal markets, Muslim Tourism or brand management are some of the topics to be approached.

Registration now opens for MAFEX-Pack2Pack in Casablanca, Morocco

The international trade fair MAFEX-Pack2Pack will take place for the fourth time from 9-11 December 2015 in the Moroccancity of Casablanca organized by I.E.C.Maroc and IFWexpoHeidelberg GmbH and standing under the patronageof the Moroccan Ministries of Agriculture andEconomy.In 2014 IEC Maroc and IFWexpo teamed up with Nile Trade Fairs to launch a new exhibition – Pack2Pack – which will be held together with MAFEX. MAFEX-Pack2Pack offers an ideal platform for manufacturers of food processing, packaging and food and convenience products to meet retailers and wholesalers from across North Africa. Up to 200 exhibitors are expected this year. National pavilions from Germany, China and Egypt will once again be present.

At last year’s edition 120 exhibitors from 14 countries presented food and halal products, machinery and equipment for processing and packaging, refrigeration and storage systems as well as ingredients and additives. With a doubling of the number of exhibitors in only two years, the fair has consolidated its position as an important event for the food industry in the Mediterranean. 2,200 business professionals visited MAFEX-Pack2Pack coming from 21 countries.

Highlightswere the fivenational pavilions (Egypt, China, Germany, Poland, and Turkey) and the conference organized by the GermanAgricultural Society(DLG)as well as the NationalOfficeforFood Safety (ONSSA).
